SEO for accountants: more and better clients
A business owner looks for a bookkeeper at two moments: when they start their business, and when their current bookkeeper starts to irritate them. Both times they usually begin with a search in Google. That is what SEO is for: my own Vizibly System measures what business owners search for, and on those searches I improve your firm’s site every month, for Google and for AI tools like ChatGPT.

Four kinds of firms, each with their own searches
Bookkeepers
Bookkeeping and figures for freelancers and small businesses
Accountants
Year-end financial statements, audits and advice

WHY SEO FOR ACCOUNTANTS?
Your new client types a search first
A new business owner with a fresh Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration types “boekhouder [plaats]” (bookkeeper in your town) or “boekhouder zzp kosten” (cost of a bookkeeper for freelancers). They want to know what it costs and whether someone is nearby. The business owner who is already running but is done with their current firm searches “overstappen boekhouder” (switching bookkeeper) or “jaarrekening laten maken” (having year-end financial statements prepared). Different moments and different words, but both are about to choose.
Whoever types “boekhouder zzp kosten” is comparing; whoever searches “overstappen boekhouder” has almost made up their mind. If someone like that calls your firm after that search, the orienting is usually already done.
Many firms run on referrals and their existing client base. That works, until a firm nearby is easy to find and shows up first for that searching business owner. Findability takes time to build, so whoever starts now has a head start on the firm that begins later.
WHAT THE SYSTEM DOES
The six parts of SEO for your firm
Vizibly System keeps track of all six on an ongoing basis. Your local findability and link building get attention every month, just like your copy and the technology.
Strategy and keywords
The system maps what business owners in your region search for, for example “boekhouder zzp” (bookkeeper for freelancers) or “jaarrekening bv laten maken” (having annual accounts prepared for a company). I decide which terms bring in the most and which pages you need for them. Only then does the writing start.

Every service gets its own page: payroll, VAT returns, annual accounts, tax advice. I write them so a business owner sees right away that you understand their situation, and so Google and AI tools can read clearly what your firm specializes in.

For Google, it counts who links to you. A mention on a business owners’ platform, in a local business directory or in trade media shows that your firm is taken seriously, and that helps your rankings for the search terms that bring clients in.

Speed counts toward your position in Google, and visitors drop off on a half-broken site. The system watches the speed, security and technical foundation of your site, and I fix whatever goes wrong there.

Many business owners want a bookkeeper nearby, someone whose office they can drop by if need be. With your Google Business Profile, your reviews and a page per town, I work on getting your firm to show up for “boekhouder [plaats]” and on the map in Google.

In your dashboard you see which pages bring in clients and which fall behind. What goes well, I expand, and a page that falls behind is the first one I take on.
KNOWLEDGE PAGES ON YOUR SITE
Answers to the questions business owners google
Business owners struggle with the same kinds of questions: what can I deduct, should I incorporate, how much VAT do I pay. If you answer one of them well on your site, the business owner who types exactly that can land on your page, and ChatGPT can use that page as a source.
Take a page that explains “wat mag ik als zzp’er aftrekken” (what can I deduct as a freelancer) properly. The business owner who arrives on it has read your explanation before they call, so they know how you think about their question. The first conversation can then go straight to their situation.

WHAT IT COSTS FOR YOUR FIRM
SEO for accountants: what it costs
Vizibly System works in a loop that goes around every month. In Search Console and in your dashboard, the system measures what business owners do on your site: which service pages bring in clients, where people drop off, which terms you rise or fall on. I analyze that and improve the site right away, and the month after, the system measures again.
Each round the system learns more about how business owners in your service area search, and with that I choose which terms and pages come first the next month. You start from €800 a month. How many services and towns get attention depends on your service area and the competition; after a short analysis you get a proposal that fits.

WHY VIZIBLY?
One person with a measuring system of his own
I’m Roy, and Vizibly is my one-person business. My own Vizibly System measures what can be better about your site and your market, and I carry it out right away. The system works through many data sources at once, so I have time left for the question of what this means for your firm and what I take on first this month. More about me.
I test whether it works on my own sites first, in Search Console. Koffienoob went from 105 to 2,883 clicks a month from Google, from January to August 2026. I put that same loop on your site.
I do not have a case study from an accounting firm yet. Until then you judge me on your own figures in your dashboard, which is why everything is month to month.

WEBSITE + SEO
A new website for your accounting firm
SEO brings the business owner to your site, and what they see there decides whether they call. With a bookkeeper, they mainly want to know whether they can trust you with their numbers, and a messy, slow site makes them unsure about that.
I also build a new site, as a separate service next to the SEO: in Next.js, fast and clean, with a clear path to an inquiry. A polished firm site starts from €2,000 one-off.
