Vizibly is Roy de Clerck: a freelance web designer and SEO consultant based in the Netherlands, with an AI system he built himself. Seven years of SEO,
and then it clicked
For seven years I did SEO and wrote copy. It's a great line of work: you find out what people type into Google, you write a page for it, and if you got it right, you watch that page climb.
In those years I also saw what goes wrong between building a site and getting it found. I came across beautiful sites that just wouldn't cooperate technically, and sites that were easy to find but turned no visitors into clients. The business owner ended up paying twice: first around €10,000 for the site, then another €5,000 to get that site found and selling.
That's when it clicked. Design and findability belong in one pair of hands, from the very first design. So I learned to build sites myself, and that's how Vizibly started.
Since then, I've built every site to do both: turn visitors into clients, and be easy for Google and AI tools to read.
Self-built,
smarter every round
Since AI tools started writing code on their own, I've been working with them pretty much day and night. Drawing on my experience in SEO and web design, I built my own Vizibly System: a system that measures what visitors and Google do on your site, and uses that to improve the site every month. It's never finished, because Google and your visitors keep changing too.
Switching on AI and hoping for the best doesn't work. A system like this only does what you want when the design, the findability, the way it convinces visitors and the technology underneath all fit together. That's where most of the build time went: into everything the system has to know before it can make something good.
I work with it myself every day. I check everything that comes out of it, and I turn every small mistake into an improvement to the system. It saves me hours of measuring and digging, and that time goes into the design and the choices for your site.

Can one person do all this?
For years the answer was no. Design, copy, technology, data analysis and link building were too much for one pair of hands.
That changed when I built my own Vizibly System. The system does the data analysis and most of the building work, and it can get up to speed in any field, including yours. That used to take a whole team, and only large companies could afford one. I make the choices for your site myself, and I'm the one who looks you straight in the eye.
For you, that means you always talk to the person who makes your site. When you call with a change, you get me on the line, and I make that change myself.
Philosopher with
a terminal
I studied philosophy, not marketing. That helps: I don't think in neat little boxes. Philosophy teaches you to keep asking until you get to the heart of something. And oddly enough, that's exactly what good SEO is too: understanding why someone types something in, and giving them the best possible answer.
That background comes in handy now. For centuries, questions like what intelligence is, what is true and what something is worth belonged to philosophers. Since AI, they've suddenly become practical questions. Anyone can generate a text in a minute. What still makes a text like that worth reading, I think, comes down to two things: that it's correct, and that a person puts their name to it.
And my favorite place to work is the terminal, with Claude Code: a black screen with a blinking cursor, just like on my first DOS computer. Some loves just come back around.
Beyond that: I'm based in Middelburg, in the Netherlands. I work for businesses all over the country, I'm glad to take on clients from abroad too, and I love winning. The best moment is still the first inquiry that comes in through a site that just went live.
