What data do I process?

Contact form

When you fill out the contact form, I collect the following data:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Your message

I use this data only to get in touch with you and answer your question. The messages are sent through Resend and arrive at my business email address.

Free tools and newsletter

If you request a report by email through the free tools, I process your email address and the website URL you entered in order to send that report. If you sign up for the newsletter, I store your email address in Resend so I can send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every newsletter or by sending an email to info@vizibly.nl.

Website visits and analytics

I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. IP addresses are anonymized and no personally identifiable information is collected. This data is not linked to advertising or other Google services.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). Vercel processes technical data such as IP addresses to make the website work. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Why do I process this data?

I process personal data for the following purposes:

• To get in touch with you in response to a question or request
• To send you a tool report you requested or the newsletter (only after your own request or sign-up)
• To improve how the website works
• To comply with legal obligations

How long do I keep data?

I keep contact details and correspondence for up to 2 years after the last contact, unless a client relationship develops. In that case, the statutory retention periods for business records apply (7 years).

Do I share data with third parties?

I only share your data with third parties when this is necessary to provide my services or to comply with legal obligations. The following parties may have access to your data:

• Resend: for sending contact form messages, tool reports and the newsletter (including storing newsletter sign-ups)
• Vercel: for hosting the website
• Google: for anonymized website statistics

I never sell your data to third parties.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Access: you may ask which data I hold about you
• Rectification: you may have incorrect data corrected
• Erasure: you may ask me to delete your data
• Restriction: you may ask me to restrict the processing
• Portability: you may ask me to transfer your data to another party
• Objection: you may object to the processing

I take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access and misuse. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS/SSL).

If you have a complaint about how I handle your data, please contact me first. If that doesn't solve it, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
