WEBSITE PROJECT

SolisBouw

A high-end website for a renovation company in Amsterdam with 25 years of experience. I created a bold design in navy and terracotta, with a separate page for each featured project.

THE BRIEF

A site built around the finished work

SolisBouw is a renovation company in Amsterdam with more than 25 years of experience. It renovates entire homes and builds custom kitchens and bathrooms.

The website had to show that experience right away, with a look that matches the quality of the work. On a website for a contractor, visitors mostly look at finished projects, so those are front and center.

On top of that, visitors had to see at a glance everything SolisBouw does, and then be able to get in touch without any searching.

THE APPROACH

Design choices for a renovation company

A diagonal line at the top

At the top of the homepage, dark navy turns into white along a diagonal line. That line looks architectural and gives the page a sense of movement right away.

Navy and terracotta

Navy blue is the main color, and it looks reliable and businesslike. Terracotta adds a warm accent that brings brick to mind.

Numbers that count up

The numbers on the homepage, like 25+ years of experience and 500+ projects, only start counting up once they come into view. That way nobody misses the count, not even a visitor who only scrolls down to them later.

A separate page for each featured project

Four projects have their own page with their own layout, including a complete renovation in Amsterdam-Noord and a villa kitchen in The Hague. Each page tells you what changed in that home.

Want a website for your renovation company too?

I design and build the site myself, with your finished work up front and a structure Google can easily understand.
