Planning a bathroom, from idea to specialist
Badkamereend is Vizibly's own bathroom platform in the Netherlands. With its bathroom cost calculator, you work out in advance what your bathroom will cost, and then you compare bathroom specialists in your own town by their Google reviews. The platform itself doesn't sell anything.

Calculators and planning tools
The planning tools let you run the numbers on your remodel before it starts. The cost calculator asks for the floor area, the quality level and the fixtures, and gives you an estimated price range, which you can also download as a PDF. With the other planning tools, you count tiles, split up the budget, choose the ventilation and check if you need a permit.

Bathroom specialists by town
Each town has an overview of the specialists nearby: general contractors, bathroom remodelers, tile installers and plumbers. The specialists are ranked by a score that weighs the Google rating against the number of reviews. If you request a quote, it goes to no more than three specialists in the area, and you choose who you move forward with.

Buying guides for every part
The buying guides cover fixtures, tiles, faucets, furniture and lighting. For each topic, you read what to look out for, what it costs and what suits your space. After the remodel, you can turn to the knowledge base and the maintenance guides.

Inspiration by style
If you haven't picked a style yet, you see five bathroom styles side by side: modern, luxury, Scandinavian, industrial and country. Each style shows what's involved and roughly what it costs, and from there you move on to your budget.

Five steps on one site
Run a mid-range bathroom of six square meters through the cost calculator, and you end up between €7,400 and €11,000. What it costs and who will do the work: those are usually the first two questions. The site answers both before you call anyone, the cost with the calculator and the specialist with an overview for each town.
Badkamereend.nl follows the order of a remodel: getting ideas, planning, choosing, the work itself and upkeep. Each step has its own section of the site, and the calculators send you on to the next step with a number in hand.
As for who will do the work: the specialists in each town are listed side by side, ranked by their Google review score. In Amsterdam alone, there are 178 of them.
THE APPROACH AT A GLANCE
Built with the same system I use for clients
Like Rijloket and Koffienoob, Badkamereend runs entirely on my own Vizibly System, the same way of working that improves client sites every month. In late January 2026, the site started as a single homepage with a handful of calculators, and by September 3, 2026, it had 1,350 pages.
With its 1,095 town pages, Badkamereend is also my testing ground for local search. What works on those pages, I take to clients who want to be found in their own area.
Badkamereend is also hidden in my 3D website The Future in the Past, by the way: in the room The Bath of Today, you turn on the hot water and suddenly you're standing in a bathroom of today, with a door to Badkamereend.
